Victorinox is a knife manufacturer based in the town of Ibach, in the Canton of Schwyz, Switzerland. Since its acquisition of rival Wenger in 2005, it has, once more, become the sole supplier of multi-purpose knives to the Swiss army. The name Victorinox is a fancy word consisting of Victoria, the mother of the founder, as well as the stainless steel INOX. The Swiss Army knife is the best-known Victorinox product, but a number of pocket and wrist watches are also sold with the Swiss Army brand.
